Background

Traffic Boat

The history of the Traffic Boat (T-Boats) go back in time to the imperial navy. They were used as connecting boats between the big ships anchoring on the roadstead, which couldn't lay directly in the port due to its depth.

There are T-Boats in the German Navy still today, though in much smaller numbers. They are used as port traffic boats and have the task of transporting persons and smaller goods within naval bases.
